The Research Data Center (Forschungsdatenzentrum, FDZ) at the Institute for Educational Progress (Institut zur Qualitätsentwicklung im Bildungswesen, IQB) provides access to and documentation on the German data sets resulting from large national and international school assessment studies, making them available for re- and secondary analyses.
Interested researchers can apply for access to the data. Which studies are available, how to apply and further information are given on the Homepage of the IQB.

The work of the FDZ is oriented on the guidelines by the German Council for Social and Economic Data (RatSWD). The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
