3rd International Conference of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS)

Deadline Call for Papers: 31.08.2018 

The series of NEPS Conferences brings together scientists from different disciplines and at different stages of their academic career to discuss ongoing projects and current findings in educational research. Empirical contributions on all NEPS-related topics are welcome, including methodological issues and international comparisons. Conference language is English. Please submit your abstract of up to 300 words for a symposium, paper or poster presentation no later than August 31, 2018 by e-mail to: neps-conference@lifbi.de Proposals shall contain a title and abstract, the name and institutional affiliation of the presenter(s), and the preferred kind of presentation. After passing through a review process all authors will receive a notification of acceptance by September 30, 2018.


Call for Nominations: A.SK Social Science Award 2019

Deadline Call for Nominations: 14.12.2018

The Award honours research on public policy with a focus on economic and governmental reforms with a prize of 200,000 USD. Previous A.SK Social Science Award holders are Sir Anthony Atkinson (Oxford), Martha Nussbaum (University of Chicago), Transparency International (Berlin), Paul Collier (Oxford), Esther Duflo (MIT), and John Ruggie (Harvard).


International Journal for Re-Views in Empirical Economics (IREE) open for submissions

The International Journal for Re-Views in Empirical Economics (IREE) is the first journal for the publication of replication studies based on micro economic data. Furthermore, IREE publishes systematic reviews, micro data sets and descriptions thereof, and articles dealing with replication methods and the development of standards for replications. IREE is an e-journal and articles are published continuously after passing a fast peer-review process. Along with the article, authors must submit the underlying data and programming. The several parts of the publications (article, data, and programming) are each provided with a DOI to be citable in due form and restored in a data archive. IREE is an open access journal and all content is without any charge to the users and authors.
