Working Group Census

This working group’s objective is to draw conclusions from the evaluation of the Census 2011 and recommend a course of action for the forthcoming Census 2021. It will closely examine the Census preparation and execution procedure, identify potential for improving the methodology, and tackle the issue of making Census data accessible to researchers and the general public. The working group will thus make a fundamental contribution to the quality of official statistics and data for research in Germany.

Status: Work is still in progress.
